A spindle moulder power feeder, also known as a mechanical feeder for spindle moulders, is an essential device for improving safety, consistency and productivity during woodworking operations.
Installed above the spindle moulder, this unit automatically feeds wooden workpieces thanks to several motorized rollers that push the piece steadily against the cutting tool.
A spindle moulder power feeder consists of an electric motor connected to several feed rollers mounted on an articulated arm.
These rollers apply constant pressure to the wooden workpiece and move it forward automatically at a constant feed speed.
This system keeps the workpiece firmly pressed against the fence, ensuring a steady feed rate and preventing variations during machining.
The operator no longer needs to push the workpiece manually: the power feeder does the job. The rollers apply consistent pressure on the wood and automatically move it forward at a constant speed.
