The feed dog and the tailstock are always delivered with the wood lathe. The tailstock can be of different shapes and is almost always rotating nowadays.
The claw and the tailstock are intended for clamping and driving your parts, which is why it is important to keep them in excellent working order. Depending on how quickly you need to assemble or disassemble the wood lathe, the wood used or the size of the workpiece, you may need to change the feed dog, the tailstock, or both components.
