The ignition coil for Scheppach BCH4300-100P brush cutter – Ref. 5910702001 is designed to generate the high electrical voltage required to produce a spark at the spark plug.

It converts the energy generated by the ignition system into a high-voltage electrical pulse, allowing the spark plug to ignite the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber.

An ignition coil in good condition helps ensure reliable starting, consistent combustion, stable operation and good petrol engine performance.

When should the ignition coil be replaced?

The ignition coil for Scheppach BCH4300-100P brush cutter – Ref. 5910702001 may need to be replaced in the following cases:

• No spark at the spark plug

• Weak or irregular spark

• Engine fails to start despite the spark plug being in good condition

• Difficult starting, particularly when the engine is hot

• Engine stalls after a few minutes of operation

• Misfiring or irregular engine operation

• Loss of power caused by an ignition fault

• Visible damage to the coil, high-voltage cable or connections

Before replacing the coil, it is recommended to check the condition of the spark plug, spark plug cap, high-voltage cable and engine stop circuit, as these components can cause similar symptoms.

A defective ignition coil should be replaced when testing confirms that it no longer produces the high voltage required for proper engine ignition.
