The Zipper ZI-HS22EZ log splitter is a powerful vertical model delivering a 22-ton splitting force. It is designed to handle large logs measuring up to 1100 mm in length and 350 mm in diameter.

Particularly versatile, this log splitter offers two drive options: it can operate using its 5100 W three-phase 400 V electric motor or be powered by a tractor PTO (Power Take-Off).

Powerful 22-ton splitting force

With a maximum splitting force of 22 tons, the Zipper ZI-HS22EZ is designed for demanding firewood processing.

It can handle logs from 560 to 1100 mm in length and from 80 to 350 mm in diameter.

Its maximum splitting stroke of 948 mm makes it particularly suitable for efficiently processing long logs.

Dual drive: 400 V electric motor or PTO

One of the main advantages of the ZI-HS22EZ is its dual drive system.

The log splitter can operate using its 5100 W three-phase 400 V electric motor or be powered via a tractor PTO.

It is equipped with a Category 1 three-point linkage, allowing the machine to be connected to and transported by a compatible tractor.

This dual drive system provides excellent flexibility, allowing the log splitter to be used either near a suitable electrical power supply or directly in the field with a tractor.

Two splitting speeds

The Zipper ZI-HS22EZ features two forward speeds, allowing the movement of the splitting wedge to be adapted to the different stages of operation.

The forward speeds are 4.3 and 10.5 cm/s, while the return speed reaches 7.5 cm/s.

The splitting stroke is also continuously adjustable, helping to reduce unnecessary wedge travel when processing shorter logs and therefore improving working efficiency.

Integrated log lifter

To make handling heavy timber easier, the Zipper ZI-HS22EZ is equipped with an integrated log lifter.

This system assists with positioning large and heavy logs in the splitting area and helps reduce the amount of manual handling required during operation.

Heavy-duty construction

The ZI-HS22EZ features a stable, torsion-resistant steel construction designed to withstand the forces generated by its 22-ton splitting capacity.
