The Zipper ZI-HS30Z is a powerful vertical log splitter delivering a 30-ton splitting force and designed to operate exclusively from a tractor PTO.

Its heavy-duty construction allows it to handle both shorter logs and metre-long timber, with a maximum capacity of 1100 mm in length and 400 mm in diameter.

The Category 1 three-point linkage allows the splitter to be connected to a suitable tractor, making it particularly convenient for processing large quantities of firewood directly in the working area without requiring an electrical power supply.

Powerful 30-ton splitting force

With a maximum splitting force of 30 tons, the Zipper ZI-HS30Z is designed for demanding firewood processing and large logs.

It can handle logs from 560 to 1100 mm in length and from 80 to 400 mm in diameter.

The maximum splitting stroke of 948 mm makes it suitable for efficiently processing long logs.

PTO-powered log splitter

Unlike an electrically powered log splitter, the ZI-HS30Z is driven exclusively by a tractor PTO (Power Take-Off).

Zipper specifies a required PTO power of approximately 12 kW and a PTO speed of 540 rpm.

The machine is also equipped with a Category 1 three-point linkage, allowing it to be connected to and transported by a compatible tractor.

This configuration is particularly suitable for processing firewood directly in the field, woodland or storage area where an electrical power supply may not be available.

Adjustable splitting stroke

The Zipper ZI-HS30Z features a continuously adjustable splitting stroke, allowing the wedge travel to be adapted to the length of the logs being processed.

The forward speed is 2.4 or 8.1 cm/s, while the return speed is 4.4 cm/s.
