The Zipper ZI-HS30EZ log splitter is a powerful vertical model delivering a 30-ton splitting force. Its robust construction allows it to handle large logs measuring up to 1100 mm in length and 400 mm in diameter.

Particularly versatile, this log splitter offers two drive options: it can be powered by its 5.5 kW three-phase 400 V electric motor or operated via a tractor PTO (Power Take-Off).

Powerful 30-ton splitting force

With a maximum splitting force of 30 tons, the Zipper ZI-HS30EZ is designed to handle large and demanding logs.

It can accommodate logs from 560 to 1100 mm in length and from 80 to 400 mm in diameter.

Its maximum splitting stroke of 948 mm makes it particularly suitable for processing long logs efficiently.

400 V electric motor or PTO drive

One of the main advantages of the ZI-HS30EZ is its dual drive system.

The log splitter can be operated using its powerful 5500 W three-phase 400 V electric motor or powered via a tractor's PTO.

It is equipped with a 3-point linkage, allowing it to be used with a suitable tractor.

This dual drive system provides excellent flexibility depending on where the firewood needs to be processed.

Two splitting speeds

The Zipper ZI-HS30EZ features two splitting speeds, allowing the movement of the splitting wedge to be adapted to the different stages of operation.

The splitting speed is 3.7 or 12.5 cm/s, while the return speed reaches 6.7 cm/s.

The splitting stroke can also be adjusted to reduce unnecessary wedge travel when processing shorter logs.

Robust construction and two-hand operation

With its heavy-duty frame and a net weight of approximately 373 kg, the Zipper ZI-HS30EZ is designed to withstand the high forces generated by its 30-ton splitting capacity.

The log splitter features a two-hand control system, requiring both hands to operate the splitting cycle.

Transport wheels also make positioning and moving the machine around the work area easier.
