Important: Motor sold separately. Other router table components are not included. Replacement must be carried out with the machine disconnected from the power supply by a person with the necessary electrical and mechanical skills.
Holzmann has updated the design of the motor used in the Holzmann TFM610V router table.
There are therefore two versions of this motor, which differ mainly in the spindle locking system used when installing and removing router bits.
Previous motor version:
The previous version features four threaded holes designed to accommodate a specific spindle locking mechanism.
New motor version:
The new version no longer features these four threaded holes. Holzmann has modified the spindle locking system so that router bits can be tightened and loosened using a cranked open-end wrench, which holds the spindle in place during the operation.
This change is a design update introduced by Holzmann and does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Holzmann confirms that both motor versions are fully compatible with the TFM610V router table.
The new motor version can replace the previous version without modifying the machine or adding any mechanical components.
Only the spindle locking procedure used when changing router bits is different.
The cranked open-end wrench required to lock the spindle is normally supplied as standard with the Holzmann TFM610V router table.
If you no longer have this wrench, it is also available separately as an optional accessory on our website.
If you are replacing an older motor with the new version, it is normal for the replacement motor not to have the same four threaded holes as the original motor.
There is no need to drill, tap or modify the new motor before installation.
When installing or removing router bits, use the cranked open-end wrench according to the procedure specified by Holzmann.
Please note: New version of the Holzmann TFM610V motor without the four threaded holes found on the previous model. Confirmed by Holzmann to be compatible with older machines. The spindle is now locked using a cranked open-end wrench, originally supplied with the machine and also available separately as an optional accessory.
