Holzmann SRABS750 welding fume extractor

The Holzmann SRABS750 welding fume extractor is designed to capture and filter fumes generated during welding operations.

Compact, efficient and easy to integrate into a workshop, it can be used as a mobile or stationary extraction unit, allowing the extraction point to be positioned close to the welding area.

With an airflow of 750 m³/h, 800 Pa negative pressure and a 3-stage filtration system, the SRABS750 is an attractive solution for equipping an individual welding workstation.

Its 230V power supply also makes installation straightforward in workshops where a three-phase electrical supply is not available near the welding station.

Capture welding fumes directly at the source

During welding, fumes are generated directly around the arc and the workpiece.

The Holzmann SRABS750 is equipped with an extraction hose and extraction hood that allow the suction point to be positioned close to the area where fumes are produced.

Local extraction helps capture fumes before they disperse further into the surrounding workshop air.

The extraction hose has a diameter of 58 mm and a length of 1.5 metres, providing flexibility when positioning the extraction point around the welding station.

750 m³/h extraction capacity

The Holzmann SRABS750 provides an airflow of 750 m³/h.

This is combined with a negative pressure of 800 Pa.

These characteristics make the unit suitable for local welding fume extraction when the extraction hood is correctly positioned close to the welding area.

For effective extraction, the hood should be positioned as close as practicable to the source of the fumes without interfering with the welding operation.

3-stage filtration system

The Holzmann SRABS750 features a three-stage filtration system.

The filtration system includes:

  • a metal mesh pre-filter;

  • a primary filter;

  • a secondary filter.

The different filtration stages progressively capture particles contained in the extracted air.

This filtration system is an important distinction compared with a simple extraction fan designed only to move contaminated air away from the workstation.

W1 filtration class

The Holzmann SRABS750 is equipped as standard with a W1 filtration system.

The stated separation efficiency is over 95%, with an indicated emission concentration of less than 4 mg/m³.

These characteristics are particularly important for equipment specifically designed for welding fume extraction and filtration.

Compact welding fume extractor for workshops

With machine dimensions of only 560 x 430 x 430 mm, the SRABS750 remains relatively compact for a welding fume extraction and filtration system.

Its compact design makes it easier to install close to a workbench, welding table or individual welding station.

It can be integrated into a wide variety of working environments, including:

  • metalworking workshops;

  • maintenance workshops;

  • fabrication workshops;

  • repair workshops;

  • individual welding stations;

  • technical training workshops;

  • work areas equipped for MIG/MAG, MMA or TIG welding, depending on the application.

Mobile or stationary operation

One of the advantages of the Holzmann SRABS750 is its suitability for mobile or stationary use.

This flexibility allows the extraction system to be adapted to the organisation of the workshop.

For a permanent welding station, the extractor can remain installed close to the work area.

In workshops where different welding stations are used, its compact format provides a more flexible solution than a large central extraction installation.

1.5 metre extraction hose

The system is supplied with a 1.5 metre extraction hose.

The hose has a diameter of 58 mm.

It is combined with an extraction hood designed to concentrate the suction close to the source of the welding fumes.

Correct positioning is important: the further the extraction point is positioned from the welding area, the greater the opportunity for fumes to disperse into the surrounding air before being captured.

350W motor with 230V power supply

The Holzmann SRABS750 is equipped with a 350W S1 motor.

Its 230V / 50Hz power supply allows it to operate from a suitable single-phase electrical supply.

This simplifies installation in many workshops and means that a three-phase electrical connection is not required to operate the fume extractor.

Low operating noise

The SRABS750 has a stated sound pressure level of 53 dB and a sound power level of 74 dB.

This is particularly useful for equipment designed to operate directly next to an individual workstation.

Specifically designed for welding fumes

A welding fume extractor should not be confused with a conventional workshop dust or chip extractor.

The Holzmann SRABS750 is specifically designed for capturing and filtering fumes generated during welding operations.

Its multi-stage filtration system, W1 filtration class and extraction hose allow contaminated air to be captured directly at the welding workstation.

Why capture welding fumes close to the source?

Local extraction is particularly useful because fumes are captured before they can disperse throughout the workshop.

The extraction hose and hood should therefore be positioned sufficiently close to the welding area to provide effective capture while leaving enough space for the operator to work comfortably.

The extraction point can be repositioned according to the workpiece, welding position and layout of the workstation.

Suitable for small and medium-sized workshops

With a net weight of 27.5 kg, the Holzmann SRABS750 provides a practical balance between filtration capacity and compact dimensions.

It is particularly suitable for metalworking, fabrication, maintenance and repair workshops looking to equip an individual welding station without immediately installing a central extraction system.

Its compact design is also useful in workshops where the available space around machines and welding stations is limited.
